The German Government transferred out 2,000 BTC, of which 1,100 BTC (~$72.3M) has been deposited to CEX in the past 17 hours, including:
- 500 BTC ($32.6M) to Kraken
- 500 BTC ($32.6M) to Bitstamp
- 40 BTC ($2.61M) to Gemini
- 40 BTC ($2.61M) to BitFlyer
- 30 BTC ($1.96M) to Coinbase
- These amounts were moved out of the entity German Government (BKA)
Notably, the German Government seized 49,857 BTC (then $2.14B) from the operator of the pirated movie website Movie2k on January 16, 2024 (5 months ago).
Currently, the entity still holds 47,859 BTC ($3.12B).
