Cetus (@CetusProtocol) on SUI was compromised and had more than $223M worth of assets stolen:
- hacker's address on SUI: 0xe28b50cef1d633ea43d3296a3f6b67ff0312a5f1a99f0af753c85b8b5de8ff06
- hacker's address 1 on Ethereum: 0x89012a55cd6b88e407c9d4ae9b3425f55924919b
- hacker's address 1 on Ethereum: 0x0251536bfcf144b88e1afa8fe60184ffdb4caf16
- These addresses belong to the entity Cetus Exploiter
Notably, the hacker is converting the stolen funds into USDC and cross-chaining the stablecoins to Ethereum to buy ETH. So far, 61.47M USDC and 1,770.5 SOL ($315,659) have been swapped for 23,244 ETH at an average price of $2,658 per ETH.
