Giant OG whale 0xe9d/0x372 just borrowed 5M USDC from Aave, spent them to buy another 19,608 AAVE at $255 via Wintermute, then re-supplied the tokens to Aave:

Notably:

• This whale is a long-term holder of AAVE. In February 2020, the whale spent 54,000 USDC to buy 1,488,746 LEND, which was later converted to 14,887.5 AAVE in July 2022. The equivalent average purchase price was just $3.63 per AAVE.
• Over the past two weeks, the whale ramped up its AAVE accumulation, withdrawing 114,378 AAVE from Kraken and Wintermute at an average price of $262.44 (estimated cost: $30M).
• The whale now holds a total of 280,674 AAVE ($69.3M), supplied to Aave to borrow 32.22M USDC at a health rate of 1.64. This AAVE position currently has an unrealized profit of $24M (+53.1%).
