So far, there have been 1968 dormant wallets, which had been inactive for 4 years, sent back 33.23M OKB (now $1.98B) to OKX in the past 16 hours.

Based on the depositing price, each wallet's OKB holding value has increased by nearly $1M in the past 4 years.

This may be part of another Buy-Back and Burn event by OKX (more details in the previous signal below).

24 dormant wallets just deposited back 428,145 OKB ($24.31M) to OKX at $56.78 on average:

These wallets withdrew a total of 443,718 OKB from OKX at only $6.36 on average ($2.82M) 4 years ago. Based on the depositing price, their joint OKB holding's value has increased by $21.59M (+792%) to $24.41M.

Notably, on March 16, 2024, OKEx conducted a massive Buy-Back and Burn event of 11.48M OKB ($748M). Among those tokens, 9.68M OKB ($631M) came from 539 wallets that had been dormant for 4 years, similar to the 24 above wallets.

Previously, the OKX Team announced buying back OKB to burn every 3 months since May 4, 2019, based on market and operational performance, but without disclosing specific rules (more details here). Hence, it is likely that the above 24 wallets might have sent back their OKB tokens for another Buy-Back and Burn event.

Note that more dormant wallets may sent back OKB to OKX in the near future.
